In the 1950s, the Fritz estate was under the management of Mr. René Fritz, who continued the tradition and developed the vineyard. In 1993, his daughter Catherine Fritz and her husband Bernard Schmitt took over, creating the Fritz-Schmitt estate. Their children joined the family business one after the other. It is the blend of all these personalities that allows us today to produce authentic, characterful wines.
